Many Thanks to the original founders of the Par-Tee Golf Club, Many who have gone on, May they rest in Peace

Mission Statement

Our primary goal is to create an environment for adults and youths to become lifetime learners of golf.  Our charity and social golf events provide us with the means to offer scholarships to students in their efforts to advance their academic experience.  We strive to develop character and a passion for the game of golf with an emphasis on education and training in the fundamentals.  We support other community events in the Fort Wayne area and we proudly and openly recognize excellence and achievement in both golf and personal development.

During the month of March of this year, we celebrated our 3rd anniversary. The club was officially formed in 1968. One year later we were designated as a 501(c)3 Not-for-profit organization.  Our "Rookie Year" 1969 was marked with growing pains and errors which could have meant the failing of our organization, but we held on and came through with flying colors and for this we are proud. We had a big affair planned for November of that year but instead we incorporated.
1970 was a very good year for new adventures and new challenges.  Our first annual tournament was a challenge that could have proven costly if we failed.  Our members met this head on and despite a few missteps, the event turned out very well.  Through all the aches, pains, trials and errors, the Par Tee members managed to keep their heads up and smiles on their faces.  And on that Saturday night at the Sheraton Motor Inn we entertained our guests with good food and music.  Our 19th Hole was a long anticipated function and we were especially proud of the fine trophies presented to the first three places in six flights.  In 1970, we had our shining hour and this is the year we made our stand to be recognized in the community of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Our further aims:  To make our annual affair and tourney one that stands out in the minds of every golfer and non-golfer in the Midwest and to build a club with members that are dedicated to the task of making Par-Tee grow.
